Agave titanota cv. Red Catweazle

The morphology of Agave titanota is extremely variable. Plants corresponding to Gentry's original description of the type locality are rather rare in our collections. Gentry gives the type locality as: "Rancho Tambor, ca. 17 miles West of San Antonio, Dist. Teotitlán, Oaxaca." He describes the leaf color as "alabaster white."
